World Learning programs bring youth together in cultural exchanges to learn from each other, discuss ideas, problem solve, volunteer, and advocate for issues facing our world.
Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) participants reported nearly 7,000 community service hours, volunteering at after-school programs, animal shelters, food banks, and park clean-ups. These volunteer hours not only improved communities across the country but empowered participants to serve their home communities throughout the world after completing their semester at a U.S. university.
World Learning hosted the Youth Ambassadors Alumni Summit in January to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Youth Ambassadors Program. Seventy-five alumni representing more than 20 countries attended the summit in Washington, DC.
The Berlin Youth Summit, organized by World Learning in partnership with the Digital Communication Network Global (DCN Global), brought together almost 100 Gen Z digital communicators and influencers from 33 European countries, providing a platform for them to connect, learn, and create meaningful campaigns on pressing social issues.
