With the support of the Fulbright Specialist Program implemented by World Learning, Dr. Kathleen Wood and her collaborators in Bulgaria have solidified a groundbreaking partnership that is already creating more inclusive educational opportunities.
From May to June, World Learning administered the International Visitor Leadership Program's regional exchange "Disability Rights—Equal Access for All." The program brought 14 disability rights and accessibility advocacy leaders from the Near East and North Africa to the United States.

An international group of nonprofit leaders, human rights advocates, and activists met with Admiral Rachel Levine at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to discuss barriers to healthcare faced by people of color, Indigenous peoples, Latinos, and the LGBTQI+ community. The group was part of the International Visitor Leadership Program implemented by World Learning.
